I'm Back!!!

Howdy folks,

I just got back to the island, it's the first time I've been warm in 10 days. I was on vacation in Louisiana with the family and had a great time, though I nearly froze to death. Who would have ever thought that I would be cold in La. I wore long sleeves and bluejeans the whole time I was there. I have been in Jamaica so long I've acclimatized to the weather. Hopefully it won't take too long to readjust when I leave here for good. Next story installment will probably be next week as I brought the family back with me for their spring break and we are in Montego Bay with my bestest good friend Mario. I did manage to talk my wife out of our good digital camera for my remaining time here so I will be posting more photos for my last few months here. I haven't decided what to do with this blog as yet, because if I'm not in Jamaica anymore how can it be Shawn's Jamaican Ramblings.

OK I'm leaving it up to you. I will give a thousand dollars to the one person who comes up with the best name for the continuance of this blog from the great state of Louisiana. Get busy, I will decide from the best entries in the remarks section of this entry by midnight Friday, the 17th of April 2009. Be creative and tell your friends and neighbors, your doctor, psychiatrist (cause we are all a little crazy), teacher friend, nuclear physicist, the witch doctor up the street, anyone and everyone you can think of. All remarks will be read, and the best one (in my humble opinion) will be chosen.
